A subtle blend of the olympic games and a world fair, « United Cultures » is a global event dedicated to artists of all ages. It consists of organizing « cultural contests » based on seven major disciplines: Theatre, Dance, Fashion, Cinema, Visual arts, Multimedia and Music.
The aim of this interdisciplinary and universal event is to create, exchange and make visible the pride of our cultural mix for and with all generation. The fraternal confrontation of the creative talents which make up the world will be able to synthesize this mix by showing how it can be an impetus to creation and a carrier of powerful messages.
A concrete idea blowing in the wind
This important event shall be the point of departure for initiatives and political, economical and philosophical forums which will lead to building other initiatives working towards peace, fraternity and respect for the planet.
If, as Auguste Renan said, « Une nation n’est pas un groupe de personnes d’une même race qui vivent ensemble, mais un groupe de personnes qui se rassemblent et qui veulent vivre ensemble » (« A nation does not consist of a group of people of the same race living together, but a group of people who come together and wish to live together »), then the United Cultures can only be the physical interpretation of this movement, which is already well on its way. |
